Veterinary Medicine Specialist Opportunity in Chesterfield

As a Veterinary Surgeon at MVR Locums, you will have the opportunity to work with a first opinion small animal practice in the Chesterfield area of Derbyshire. This role offers a great development opportunity and is an excellent full-time position with a 40-hour week, a 1 in 4 weekend rota, and no out-of-hours work.

The practice has purpose-built facilities and up-to-date state-of-the-art equipment. You will have a varied caseload with a rolling rota for surgery days and consulting days. We are looking for someone who is confident in small animal medicine and surgery, with experience in routine and emergency procedures.

This role also includes a generous CPD allowance and payment of RCVS, BVA, and VDS fees. You will be joining a friendly, sociable, and supportive 4-veterinarian team. The location offers easy access to the motorway network and the Peak District National Park.

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • Confident in small animal medicine and surgery
  • Experience in routine and emergency procedures
