We are seeking an experienced Stroke Medicine Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with stroke and their families.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
  • Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for patients with stroke
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also be expected to contribute to the development of our stroke services, including:

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety
  • Participating in education and training programs to enhance the skills of other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborating with other departments and services to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
