About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Administrator to join our team at the Centura Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of our fleet of vehicles, comprising approximately 150 vans and cars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cost efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations governing fleet operations
  • Communicate with insurance brokers and arrange necessary coverage for drivers and vehicles
  • Assist in drafting and implementing effective policies and procedures for fleet management
  • Manage vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules to minimize downtime
  • Monitor driver behavior and maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections and services
  • Oversee fleet costs and ensure they remain within budget
  • Conduct carbon reporting for vehicles
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a transportation or logistics setting
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities
