We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Administrator to join our team at the Centura Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of our fleet of vehicles, comprising approximately 150 vans and cars.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve cost efficiency and reduce downtime
- Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations governing fleet operations
- Communicate with insurance brokers and arrange necessary coverage for drivers and vehicles
- Assist in drafting and implementing effective policies and procedures for fleet management
- Manage vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules to minimize downtime
- Monitor driver behavior and maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections and services
- Oversee fleet costs and ensure they remain within budget
- Conduct carbon reporting for vehicles
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a transportation or logistics setting
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities
