Job Title: Secure Equipment Specialist
Location: South Wales area
We are seeking an experienced Locksmith/Safe Engineer to join our team at Insafe International Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing locksmithing and safe engineering services to our clients throughout the South Wales area.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in locksmithing and safe engineering, with experience in repairing and maintaining various types of locks and safes. You will also be proficient in installing electronic safe locks and programming them using laptops. In addition, you will be required to perform code changes to safe locks and batteries.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general locksmithing tasks, including lock-fitting, cylinder changes, pinning, key cutting, and code changes to coded door locks.
- Open and repair safes, dependent on ability.
- Install electronic safe locks.
- Program electronic safe locks using laptops.
- Change codes on safe locks.
- Replace batteries in electronic devices.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in locksmithing and safe engineering.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electronic systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in using laptops and mobile platforms.
- A valid UK driving license is essential.
- No prior criminal convictions.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- A liveried vehicle equipped with necessary stock, key cutting machines, etc.
- A mobile phone, laptop, and tablet provided.
- Company uniform and PPE provided.
- 42.5 hour standard week, plus overtime (where available) and On-Call rota (one 7-day period per month).
- Holidays: 20 days per annum plus National Holidays rising to 25 days.
