About the Role
Aberdeen City Council is now recruiting for a Service Supervisor to lead and participate in the provision of high-quality, person-centred care and support for service users living with Dementia.
Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting dignity, respect, choice, independent living, and working in an anti-discriminatory way. They will also assess, plan, and review records, including risk assessments and support plans, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and work proactively with limited direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support to service users living with Dementia
- Contribute to the organisation and development of the team and service to promote good outcomes for service users and their carers
- Provide personal care to a range of people with support needs
- Work accurately with detailed information around the management and administration of service users' medication
- Meet deadlines and demonstrate ability to work under pressure
Requirements:
- Qualification: SSSC SVQ 3
- PVGS Record or willing to become a scheme member
- Registered or undertaken registration with the SSSC where applicable
- PDA in Supervision or willingness to work towards
Working Arrangements:
This role is based at Kingswells Care Home and involves a permanent contract with 39.38 hours per week. The estimated salary for this role is £23,139-£27,665 per annum, depending on experience.
