Urology Clinical Fellow

University Hospitals Dorset is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Urology Clinical Fellow to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Urology Department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our surgical services.
Main Responsibilities- Participate in a 1 in 8 on-call rota for Urology, working closely with a Urology Consultant of the Week to ensure seamless patient care.
- Contribute to elective training, including day case and major surgery lists, supervised outpatient clinics, and diagnostic sessions for flexi-cystoscopy, precision point prostate biopsy, and urodynamics.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes and support the development of our surgical services.
- Participate in educational supervision and study leave to support your career development and progress towards higher urology training.
- Eligibility for GMC registration and completion of foundation training.
- Basic Medical Qualification and MRCS or equivalent – Part A.
- Ability to demonstrate successful completion of core surgical training or equivalent and take responsibility for clinical care of patients.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and use initiative.
