About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Skylarks School, part of Options Autism. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils with Autism and Complex Needs, helping them to achieve their full potential and reach their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities, adapting to the individual needs of each pupil.
  • Assist with preparing learning materials, running classroom activities, and supervising pupils during indoor and outdoor experiences.
  • Take responsibility for the emotional and physical needs of pupils, promoting their well-being and development.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social skills and relationships among pupils.
