About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Skylarks School, part of Options Autism. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Complex Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities tailored to individual pupils' needs
  • Assist with preparing learning materials and resources
  • Provide emotional and physical support to pupils, promoting their well-being and independence
  • Participate in outdoor activities and excursions, ensuring pupil safety and engagement
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans
