Job Opportunity for Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Staff

We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Staff to support our Primary and Secondary Special Educational Needs Schools in and around Epsom.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with special educational needs in a Primary or Secondary school setting
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group instruction to students
  • Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • A positive attitude and good work ethic
  • Calm and patient nature, with the ability to work with students of all needs and abilities
  • Happy to use own initiative and get involved in school activities
  • Able to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Kind and caring towards children, with a willingness to take on training and development opportunities
  • Previous experience working with SEN children is ideal, but not essential
  • Hold a valid DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
