Kurdish Language Experts Wanted for Interpretation Work in the UK

We are recruiting freelance Kurdish interpreters to work on a flexible, self-employed basis. As an interpreter, you will play a vital role in facilitating communication between people who speak different languages.

Job DescriptionThis job involves working as an interpreter in various settings such as the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations. You will be responsible for listening to, understanding, and memorizing content in the source language, then reproducing the speech into the target language with 100% accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services
- Check the non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence
- Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Dealing with highly confidential information
- Liaise between the service user and service provider
To be successful in this role, you will need to be fluent in English and another language. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK, and you must be aged 21 or over. Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registered, or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are advantageous.
