We are recruiting for a Learning Support Professional to provide high-quality teaching and support to students with SEN, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs in Staffordshire.

Job Description:

This is a part-time role that involves providing 1:1 tuition to students in Maths, English, or Science, using a flexible and holistic approach that takes into account the individual needs of each student. You will be working closely with our SEN Support Team to ensure that every placement is a success for the student and the tutor.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to meet the needs of students with SEN, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs.
  2. Work collaboratively with the SEN Support Team to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for each student.
  3. Provide regular progress reports and feedback to parents and carers on the student's progress.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience of teaching students with SEN, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs.
  3. Experience of working with students who require additional support and interventions.
  4. Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this if necessary).
  5. Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
