About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Manager to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our efficiency programme, working closely with the Programme Director and other stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the work of project managers, providing strategic guidance and support to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Develop and implement large-scale quality and cost improvement plans, working closely with teams to achieve tangible results.
  • Monitor financial performance, identifying variances and taking corrective action to ensure programme delivery within budget.
  • Provide clear programme management support, promoting the Trust's vision, strategic aims, and values.
Requirements
  • Educated to Master's degree level or equivalent, with project management qualifications such as Prince 2 or Managing Successful Projects.
  • Proven experience of leading teams and managing large-scale projects, with a track record of delivering successful outcomes.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
