About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead the company's disaster recovery efforts, ensuring uninterrupted business operations. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing robust disaster recovery systems, navigating complex tech challenges, and safeguarding critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead disaster recovery plans, including Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
  • Design DR solutions for cloud services (AWS), ensuring they're scalable and reliable.
  • Conduct risk assessments and automate recovery processes with tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Perform rigorous testing and validation of DR plans using observability tools and chaos engineering.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organisation and lead recovery efforts during disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and prepare detailed performance reports.
Requirements:
  • A lot of experience in disaster recovery or business continuity, with leadership experience too.
  • Expertise in AWS services and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with modern architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies.
