Safeguarding Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Safeguarding professional to join our Learning and Development team at The Royal British Legion. As a Safeguarding Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting a strong safeguarding culture within our organization, ensuring the protection of our beneficiaries and maintaining our reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver learning programs to promote a person-centred approach in safeguarding and casework.
  • Develop and maintain all safeguarding learning material, including online awareness training for staff, volunteers, and members.
  • Conduct research to support the planning and delivery of safeguarding training.
  • Evaluate case reviews and trends analysis to inform training.
  • Work with Heads of Departments across all directorates to deliver SME-specific training.
Requirements:
  • Experience in safeguarding and learning and development.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding regulatory requirements in the UK and overseas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
