Product Design Engineer

Are you a seasoned design engineer with experience in a design consultancy or in-house role? Would you be interested in pursuing a position with a leading manufacturer in the marine and outdoor living sector?

Due to organic growth, WR Engineering Recruiters are seeking a Product Design Engineer with experience in all stages of design: concept generation, sketching, CAD development, design for production, and testing.

The Role:

  • This is a hands-on role that will involve you being involved with each stage of the product's development, from idea to production and seeing your work come to fruition and go to market.
  • Using 3D CAD and Solidworks to create designs and modify existing designs.
  • WR Engineering Recruiters are looking for someone with ambition and motivation to own projects from start to finish.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' product design/design engineering experience with relevant degree.
  • Highly proficient in 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks. Likewise FEA and 3D rendering skills.
  • Competent in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

The Package:

  • Salary - £34,000-£37,000
  • Working Hours - 8:30-17:00 (Monday-Friday)
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
