We are seeking a highly skilled Product Design Engineer to join our team at WR Engineering Recruiters. As a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative products for the marine and outdoor living sector.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop products from concept to production, including concept generation, sketching, CAD development, design for production, and testing.
- Utilize 3D CAD and SolidWorks to create designs and modify existing designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets business requirements and customer needs.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, including design specifications, technical drawings, and bills of materials.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure designs are innovative and competitive.
- 2+ years of experience in product design or design engineering, with a relevant degree.
- Highly proficient in 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks, and FEA and 3D rendering skills.
- Competent in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
