WR Engineering Recruiters is seeking a highly skilled Product Design Engineer to join our team in the marine and outdoor living sector. As a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for all stages of design, from concept generation to production and testing.
The Role:
- This is a hands-on role that involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative products.
- You will be using 3D CAD and Solidworks to create designs and modify existing designs.
- Our ideal candidate will have ambition and motivation to own projects from start to finish.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in product design or design engineering with a relevant degree.
- Highly proficient in 3D CAD, ideally SolidWorks, as well as FEA and 3D rendering skills.
- Competent in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong model making, prototyping, and workshop skills.
- Good sketching and product styling proficiency.
The Package:
- Salary: £34,000-£37,000.
- Working Hours: 8:30-17:00 (Monday-Friday).
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
- Pension Scheme.
- Relocation package if required.
- Great modern facilities.
