Distribution Specialist - South West England
Area: South West UK
Ideal location: M40 corridor (accepting other locations)

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Distribution Specialist to join our team in the South West England region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing the performance of Axalta distributors in the assigned region, working closely with our local sales team to achieve sales goals and grow the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the performance of Axalta distributors in the assigned region, including target, profitability, and growth.
- Develop and implement an effective sales plan, including a balanced offer of Axalta products and services, in line with regional goals.
- Coordinate sales plan implementation with the rest of the sales team and other functions, such as Sales, Account, and Market Specialists.
- Identify opportunities to expand Axalta's distribution footprint through targeting new distribution, line adds, and stock point additions to existing distribution.
- Manage distribution needs end-to-end, networking with other sales and technical roles, supply chain, product group, and customer service.
- Understand current and future business environment and industry trends to prioritize, target, and effectively retain current customers and sell to new ones.
- Communicate the key attributes and advantages of Axalta products and services through designed proposals.
- Pioneer new, innovative opportunities and take on challenges that contribute to market success.
- Conduct periodic follow-up meetings with distributors to achieve desired results.
- Maintain a balance between building strong relationships with distributors while keeping Axalta's interests and goals as a top priority.
- Ensure and facilitate proper usage of Axalta's CRM software.
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge/experience of Automotive Refinish industry or aftersales automotive Market (tire business, oil business...)
- Extensive experience selling and retaining, with a track record of hitting or exceeding goals.
- Experience selling to or managing relationships with top-tier customers/distributors preferred
- Strong business acumen/financial, or at least basic notions of profitability and business case building/result-oriented.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building, and presentation skills
- Fluency in English, oral and written.
- Must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Must have strong work ethic and self-discipline
- Versatility to flex into different positions
- Must be willing to travel extensively, open to overnight stays or location changes.
