Job Title: Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services Specialist to join our team at WilmingtonList. As an EMT, you will be responsible for responding to emergency incidents and providing fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency incidents and provide fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services
  • Treat patients and protect their privacy
  • Conduct pre-incident surveys, secure emergency scenes, and perform fire extinguishment and salvage operations
  • Participate in training and stay up-to-date on new trends and innovations in firefighting and emergency medical services
  • Conduct public education classes on fire prevention and emergency preparedness

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and moderate experience in firefighting or emergency medical services
  • NC Class B driver's license and various certifications including NC Paramedic and Emergency Vehicle Driver

What We Offer:

A competitive estimated salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Work Environment:

Our team works under the supervision of the EMS Captain and contributes to the protection of citizens and property in Southport, North Carolina.
