Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing services to our social housing tenants, ensuring their homes are safe, functional, and comfortable. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the well-being of the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform plumbing work related to the construction and repair of social housing units.
  2. Perform routine and emergency plumbing repairs and maintenance for social housing properties.
  3. Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
  4. Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, including faucets, toilets, sinks, and pipes.
  5. Ensure all work meets building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
  6. Collaborate with other construction professionals and tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a social housing context.
  2. Strong knowledge of plumbing techniques, tools, materials, and safety standards.
  3. Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
  4. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Must have a certification or diploma in plumbing.
  2. Experience working in social housing or a similar environment.
  3. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
