We are seeking talented individuals to join our board of trustees, bringing fresh perspectives and expertise to support our mission. As a trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of PLUS, working collaboratively with our executive leadership team to drive strategic direction and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and scrutinize the executive leadership team
  • Provide strategic direction through a consensus-based decision-making structure
  • Contribute to the development of our organisation's vision and goals

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the following areas:

  • Social Care and CQC Regulation
  • Property and Housing Management
  • Finance (Charity and Social Care experience preferred)
  • Lived Experience of Supporting Family Members with Learning Disabilities
  • Data and Cyber Security or People and HR

No prior board experience? No problem. We have a supportive induction program and welcome new perspectives. We encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, including black and minority ethnic communities.

The board meets quarterly, with hybrid meetings allowing trustees to join virtually or in our Lewisham offices. You can expect one additional meeting per quarter on your designated area, arranged at mutual convenience. Our induction program includes a visit to our front-line services.
