Job Overview

This vacancy exists for an Executive Kitchen Assistant to support the Catering Department in ensuring high-quality meals and refreshments are provided throughout the school day. The successful candidate will be responsible for catering for various school functions and courses, as well as monitoring stock control, rotation, and records.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. They will also possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to meet deadlines and priorities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and service of meals and refreshments throughout the school day.
  • Cater for all school functions and courses held during the school term and non-term time.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock control, rotation, and records.
  • Ensure that all kitchen hygiene and health and safety requirements are met.
  • Participate in the College's Performance Management and Continuing Professional Development program.
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required by the line manager.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £19,814-£20,155, inclusive of holiday pay and shifts, based on a pro-rata 37.5 hours per week.
