Job Opportunity

We are seeking a confident Maths tutor to provide tuition for children in the Hartlepool area. The tutor will work with Local Authorities and Schools to deliver maths focused sessions, providing constructive feedback and using this to plan next steps to enhance children's learning.

The Role:
  • Session Planning: Deliver maths focused sessions tailored to individual needs.
  • Constructive Feedback: Provide regular feedback to inform planning and improve student outcomes.
  • Child Understanding: Recognise and respond to the unique needs of each child.
  • Engagement Strategies: Apply various behavioural strategies to engage pupils in sessions.
Tutor Requirements:
  • Professional Qualifications: Teaching qualifications preferred, but not essential.
  • SEND Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEND/SEMH needs is desirable.
  • References: 2 professional references covering at least 2 years of employment from a 10-year career history.
  • DBS: Enhanced Child Workforce DBS or willingness to obtain one via TP Tutors.
