**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Educational Support Professional to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an Academic Tutor, you will be responsible for providing English tuition to children who are not currently accessing education or need extra support in a mainstream setting.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality English focused sessions to meet the needs of our students.
  • Provide constructive feedback and use this information to plan next steps to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Understand individual student needs and apply different behavioral strategies to engage pupils in sessions.

Requirements:

  • Hold professional teaching qualifications.
  • Experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Possess an enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one via Teaching Personnel.
