Year 3 Teacher Wanted

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 3 Classroom Teacher to join our team at an Ofsted rated GOOD primary school in Blackburn, East Lancashire.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 3 students. They will also assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure all pupils reach their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of Year 3 students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development and well-being.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven UK experience teaching at the primary level, preferably with Year 3 or lower KS2 students.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate young learners.
Desirable Qualities
  • Experience in using technology to enhance learning and engagement in the classroom.
  • Additional qualifications or training in areas such as SEN, EAL, or safeguarding.
  • A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to engage in continuous learning.
