About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Substance Misuse Nurse to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized care plans, delivering a range of treatment options, and providing comprehensive assessments and recovery planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Deliver a range of treatment options, including clinical and psychosocial interventions
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and initiate and review individual recovery plans
  • Monitor therapeutic responses to medication and potential side effects

Person Specification

We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with a passion for developing their clinical skills in an environment that is ever-changing. You will also have a RCGP 1 in Substance Misuse or a willingness to undertake this to support your development. Experience of working with opiate-dependent patients is advantageous for this role, as well as sound clinical substance misuse knowledge.
