Project Engineer

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing technical aspects of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installation works across the UK. This role involves coordinating materials, equipment, and documentation, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- To oversee the engineering, planning, and execution of site works, including mechanical and electrical installations, servicing, and commissioning, ensuring correct equipment, tooling, and materials are available to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality installations.
- To provide direct liaison to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a clear plan and leveraging support from stakeholders where required to deliver outcomes.
- To liaise with other areas of the business as necessary to organize and attend 'ready for site' sessions, conducting desktop site works rehearsals, and ensuring thorough preparation.
- To produce and oversee fulfillment of works Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Permits to Work, Toolbox Talks, COSHH assessments, and safe working procedures, ensuring the health and safety of personnel for the working activity.
- To undertake site audits/visits, producing and submitting any required site reports, and overseeing standards of workmanship and professionalism for internal systems and installations.
- To help the organization continuously improve and undertake developments in the Site Services function, inclusive of developing process and procedures and being a key stakeholder in digitization opportunities.
About You:
- Relevant project engineering experience within a customer-based or customer-focused environment delivering technical installation and commissioning work scopes.
- Technical background in Mechanical & Electrical installation, as an installer and/or engineer.
- Experience with systems of work such as Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH Assessments, Toolbox Talks, and Permits to Work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- HNC or above in a relevant technical discipline. This may be substituted for significant, demonstrable working experience.
- City & Guilds/NVQ in a relevant technical discipline.
