We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Psychologist to join our Intensive Support Team. The successful candidate will work closely with our clinical team to provide high-quality psychological interventions to children and young people with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist qualified Clinical Psychologists in implementing psychological interventions, including assessment, analysis, and evaluation of data.
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals to provide sensitive and accurate information.
  • Liaise with other agencies, including schools and social services, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centred support plans to promote positive outcomes for children and young people.

Requirements

  • Eligibility for registration with the British Psychological Society.
  • Degree in Psychology at a 2:1 or above.
  • Good knowledge of developmental and clinical aspects of psychology.
  • Experience of using computer software packages.
  • Demonstrated interest in working with people with mental health problems.
