About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Psychologist to join our Intensive Support Team. The successful candidate will work closely with our clinical team to provide high-quality psychological interventions to children and young people with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified Clinical Psychologists in implementing psychological interventions, including assessment, analysis, and evaluation of data.
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals to provide sensitive and accurate information.
- Liaise with other agencies, including schools and social services, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centred support plans to promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
Requirements
- Eligibility for registration with the British Psychological Society.
- Degree in Psychology at a 2:1 or above.
- Good knowledge of developmental and clinical aspects of psychology.
- Experience of using computer software packages.
- Demonstrated interest in working with people with mental health problems.
