Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Agent to join our team at Kier Group. As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for the supervision of the workforce and the delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of subcontractors to deliver projects safely and to the specified quality.
  • Ensure the implementation of project plans, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
  • Input and awareness of construction programmes and work closely with project planners and managers.
  • Deliver site inductions, issue permits and forms, and conduct daily briefings and record keeping.
  • Undertake weekly site audits and document and issue requests for information.
  • Chair site meetings and report weekly to project managers on site progress.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the construction industry.
  • Substantial knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management, and cost control.
  • Good knowledge of producing, reviewing, and implementing safe systems of work for task-specific activities.
  • CSCS card.
