Job Title: Site Agent

We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise all on-site activities across water and wastewater projects.
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor site progress, report on project milestones, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage budgets and resources efficiently, minimizing costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring that all work meets client requirements and industry regulations.
  • Liaise with the client (Severn Trent Water), project managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Address any on-site challenges or issues, ensuring the smooth running of the project.
Requirements:
  • Experience within a site management or site agent role, ideally within the water or infrastructure sectors.
  • Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. SMSTS and CSCS qualifications are essential.
  • Previous experience in managing water and wastewater projects, including pipelines, treatment plants, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage site teams, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Strong understanding of HSE regulations and a proven track record of ensuring compliance on site.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
