Job Title: Lift Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Lift Engineer to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear. As a Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of lifts and elevators in the North and Midlands area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with a variety of schematic diagrams, drawings, and manuals to ensure efficient and safe lift operation.
  • Be responsible for every 3rd party item involved in the project, including li> and other related components.
  • Be open to undertaking 3rd party training and site training for working in specialist environments.
  • Utilize good problem-solving skills to resolve issues successfully and collaborate with the team to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • NVQ3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in repairs, service, or installation of lifts and elevators.
  • Strong customer skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Good written and spoken English language skills.
  • Excellent health and safety knowledge and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to situations and environments and willingness to develop skills in Lift engineering.
