Job Title: Neurodiversity Support Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Full Academic Year, Term-time Only

Location: Hackney

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Neurodiversity Support Assistant. As a key member of our inclusion team, you will provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and behavioural requirements across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN and behavioural requirements
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Use your initiative to provide support to various children, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to support pupils with SEN
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents

Requirements:

  • Passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for all pupils to flourish within
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a SEN setting
  • Creative, confident, and caring approach to supporting pupils with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
