About the Role

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow in Anaesthetics to join our team. As a key member of our anaesthetic department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anaesthetic services for elective and emergency procedures in our main theatres
  • Participate in the resident on-call rota, covering intensive care, obstetric anaesthesia, and general anaesthetic duties
  • Contribute to the development of our anaesthetic services, including quality improvement initiatives and research projects

Requirements

  • Full registration with the GMC and a licence to practice
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • BLTC in Anaesthesia and passed Final FRCA exam
  • Experience in anaesthetics and intensive care medicine
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, and be physically and mentally fit with satisfactory occupational health clearance
