About the Role

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellow in Anaesthetics to join our team. As a Clinical Fellow, you will play a vital role in delivering effective patient care and contributing to the development of our anaesthetic services.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for anaesthetising for elective operating lists in main theatres, providing pre- and post-operative care to patients, and participating in the resident on-call rota. This will involve cover of the intensive care department and/or the operating theatres and obstetric anaesthesia.

Our hospitals in Basingstoke and Winchester provide a comprehensive range of acute services, including tertiary referral centre for colorectal, liver, peritoneal carcinomatosis, haemophilia, and pseudomyxoma surgery.

Person Specification

  • Full registration with licence to practice with GMC
  • MMBS or equivalent
  • BLTC in Anaesthesia
  • Passed Final FRCA exam

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • CCT in Anaesthetics / ICM
  • Life support course instructor
  • Experience in Anaesthetics and Intensive care medicine
