Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser

Join Reed and take on a challenging role as a Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, where you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners to secure funding for our organization.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising and Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, you will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and soliciting new business opportunities, as well as stewarding existing relationships to ensure long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a strategic plan to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including researching and targeting potential corporate partners.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at corporate partner organizations, including developing and executing engagement strategies to foster strong partnerships.
  3. Collaborate with the Engagement team to prepare and present high-quality proposals, pitches, and presentations to secure new business and respond to incoming proposals.
  4. Provide exceptional stewardship to engage supporters and ensure agreed fundraising objectives are successfully met and exceeded.
  5. Develop project plans to support work programme activity, identifying key milestones, success criteria, and resource requirements.
  6. Respond effectively and promptly to enquiries and requests received directly from potential new supporters and relay information to appropriate internal contacts.
Requirements
  1. Relevant fundraising experience working with businesses, with a proven track record of securing new business and exceeding fundraising targets.
  2. Proven experience of project management, with the ability to develop and implement effective project plans.
  3. Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills, with the ability to articulate the benefits of a partnership and the organization's brand.
  4. Competent in charity law as it applies to fundraising, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
