About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Child and Adolescent Psychological Specialist to join our team at Shire Healthcare. As a key member of our CYP trauma service, you will work closely with external organisations, including schools and educational settings, to offer consultations, reflective practice, direct therapeutic input, assessments, and training.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with complex CYP services such as CAMHS, children's residential, and/or YOT services. You will also have a degree in Psychology or a related field and be registered with the HCPC.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £46,100 - £60,000 FTE, depending on experience.
  • The opportunity to develop and lead our therapy service, contributing to the wider company's centre of excellence in the field of developmental trauma and attachment.

Job Description:

Your primary responsibility will be to provide psychological assessments, formulation, and interventions to children, young people, and their families. You will also work with external organisations, including schools and educational settings, offering consultations, reflective practice, direct therapeutic input, assessments, and training.
