Catering Support Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at Chestnut Tree House. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing high-quality food and excellent customer service to our patients and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Temperature recording and monitoring
- Receiving and storing deliveries
- Working independently to meet deadlines and maintain high standards
- Collaborating with the team to achieve our goals
- Washing and cleaning equipment and utensils
- Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Preparing food under the guidance of our experienced chefs
- Catering to dietary and allergy requirements
- Completing mandatory training modules and company Food Hygiene Training
We are looking for someone who is flexible, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a hospice environment. Food Hygiene Level 2 and/or previous experience in catering would be an advantage.
