Facilities Manager

Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Accommodation and Facilities Officer to join their team in Nottingham. As a key member of the property maintenance company, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining facilities across three residential sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain facilities across three residential sites, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Implement and manage health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to improve facilities and manage service charge budgets.
- Develop and manage budgets for facilities operations and maintenance, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Handle emergency facility situations swiftly and efficiently, minimizing disruption to residents and staff.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality standards are met, identifying areas for improvement.
- Oversee and coordinate facility projects and renovations, working closely with contractors and suppliers.
- Organize maintenance schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and minimizing downtime.
- Liaise with in-house staff and contractors to ensure smooth operations across properties, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Experience in facilities management of residential spaces, with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with statutory compliance requirements, including health and safety legislation.
- Ability to manage budgets and handle contracts, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
- A competitive salary of around £30,000 per year.
- Participation in a company pension scheme.
