Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Facilities Officer to join our team in Nottingham. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the facilities across 3 residential sites.
- Facilities Management: Manage and maintain the facilities across 3 residential sites, ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and meet the required standards.
- Health and Safety: Implement and manage health and safety regulations, ensuring that all staff and contractors are aware of and comply with these regulations.
- Contractor Management: Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for facility improvement, ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard and within budget.
- Budget Management: Manage service charge budgets and develop and manage budgets for facilities operations and maintenance.
- Emergency Response: Handle emergency facility situations swiftly and efficiently, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken to minimize disruption.
- Property Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections to ensure that all properties meet the required standards.
- Project Management: Oversee and coordinate facility projects and renovations, ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard and within budget.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Organise maintenance schedules to ensure that all properties are well-maintained and meet the required standards.
- Communication: Liaise with both in-house staff and contractors to ensure smooth operations across the properties.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Facilities Officer who has a strong background in facilities management. The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in facilities management of residential spaces.Familiarity with statutory compliance requirements.A good understanding of health and safety regulations.Ability to manage budgets and handle contracts.A full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).What's on OfferWe offer a competitive salary of around £30,000 per year, participation in a company pension scheme, 20 days of holiday, statutory sick pay, and a supportive company culture that values its staff.
