Freelance Translator and Interpreter Required for Public Sector

We are seeking highly skilled translators and interpreters to join our team at Language Empire in Totnes, Devon.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and have a strong command of another language.
As a freelance translator and interpreter, you will work with various clients across the public sector, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other organizations.
Your role will involve interpreting and translating content with 100% accuracy, ensuring that all communication is clear and effective.
You will also liaise between service users and providers, checking non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence.
We offer flexible working arrangements to suit your schedule, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home as your own boss.
Ongoing support and continuous professional development opportunities are available through our dedicated in-house team.
In exchange for your skills and expertise, we estimate a salary of around £20-£25 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
Please note that this is a self-employed position, and you must have the right to work in the UK and be aged 21 or over.
Formal qualifications such as DPSI, Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration, or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are advantageous.
