Gattaca is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Continuity Planner & Resilience Advisor to contribute to the security and resilience of critical business operations in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expert Guidance: Provide expert advice and support to ensure enterprise resilience and business continuity, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Incident Response: Support the incident response function for operations outside of the Nuclear Licensed Site, ensuring business priorities are upheld during incidents.
  • Plan Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain business continuity plans, business impact analyses, disaster recovery plans, and associated documentation.
  • Risk Management: Offer guidance to functional teams on risks related to information, facilities, reputation, and other critical business assets.
  • Resilience Exercises: Contribute to the planning and execution of resilience exercises, enhancing the organisation's preparedness and response capabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assist in the implementation of lessons learned from exercises to strengthen resilience planning and ensure continual development.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Professional Qualification: Hold a relevant qualification in Resilience, Business Continuity, Risk Management, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience.

  • Programme Development: Proven experience in developing Business Continuity programmes aligned with industry standards within a corporate or regulated environment.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated ability to identify and engage key stakeholders, fostering strong relationships to achieve business objectives.

  • Performance Monitoring: Experience in supporting inspections, audits, and reviews of business continuity and resilience programmes, with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Best Practice Implementation: Strong understanding of enterprise resilience and business continuity best practices.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards, frameworks, and best practices in Enterprise Resilience, Business Continuity, and Emergency Management, particularly within regulated sectors.

  • Project Management: Competent in project management techniques, with experience supporting high-profile projects and programmes.

  • Technical Writing: Skilled in writing procedures, drafting reports, and providing clear guidance to staff.

  • Communication Skills: Adept at delivering briefings and training sessions to staff and suppliers at all organisational levels.
