We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Assistant to join our small, friendly team in Preston.

This permanent role is responsible for the full ownership of the Accounts Payable function, driving performance and efficiency improvements within the department.

The successful candidate will take charge of scanning and coding invoices, requesting approval and posting invoices, generating GRNI reports, managing inter-company transactions, overseeing petty cash, liaising with the purchasing department, reconciling supplier statements, preparing month-end accruals, and managing the accounts payable inbox.

They will also respond to queries in a proactive manner and be accountable for driving performance and efficiency improvements.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this role offers a competitive salary of £28,750 per annum, depending on experience.
