Our team delivers business-oriented services, including development, support, and maintenance of applications, virtualization, automation, cloud, and infrastructure administration.

Job Overview

As a Data Center Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for providing server hardware support across a multi-vendor environment. This includes HPE Servers and Dell servers.

You will also be involved in data center cabling activities, such as installation, termination, patching, and testing of all DC interlink cabling.

Additionally, you will provide data center facilities management activities, including IMAC/D work, escorting external resources, requesting access, and goods in/out.

The role requires working on customer sites in Lewisham and London Docklands, covering 24/7 365 based on 12hr shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver solutions within named accounts;
  • Installations, maintenance, and repairs on customer equipment;
  • Installation, termination, and testing of all data center interlink cabling;
  • Build strong customer relationships.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Strong knowledge of HPE Proliant, Blade servers, and Dell Servers;
  • Experience of patch cabling in DC environment;
  • Good knowledge of Service Now (SNOW).
