About the Role:
Kier Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team in the North East region. As a Senior Site Manager, you will play a key role in delivering external elements of a large, new build healthcare project in Sunderland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct subcontractor partners to deliver a large section of external works.
- Check work carried out by subcontractors to assess delivery in line with programme, design drawings, and quality standards.
- Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements from subcontractors to ensure working methods outlined are safe and appropriate.
- Report any issues or programme slippages to the site/project manager.
- Work closely with the wider project team to ensure the safe delivery of construction works in line with Kier quality standards.
Requirements:
- Relevant construction qualification (HND/ Degree, trades accreditation, or equivalent).
- Prior experience in delivering large build projects within the main contracting environment.
- Track record of ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
- Holding SMSTS 5-Day Cert, CSCS Card, and First Aid cert.
