Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering bespoke tuition packages to young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who are unable to access mainstream education.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and creative tutor who can create, plan, and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost attainment levels. You will work closely with families to understand the needs of each pupil and develop a personalized learning plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 tuition to pupils with SEN
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Monitor pupil progress and report to Prospero Teaching
  • Work collaboratively with families to understand pupil needs
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • PECS/Makaton training preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work with challenging behavior and disengaged pupils
