Job Title: English and Maths GCSE SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN tutor to provide tailored support to students with special educational needs in English and Maths GCSE subjects.

Job Type:

This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent in the future.

Salary:

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to cater to students' diverse needs and abilities
  • Deliver engaging and adaptive lessons to support students' progress and achievement
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to ensure seamless support for students
  • Assess and adjust teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Provide regular progress updates and feedback to students and parents
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
  • Experience working with students with SEN
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN education

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Organisational skills to manage individual learning plans
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Experience using assistive technology in teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, and we reserve the right to make it permanent in the future.
