Job Title: English and Maths SEN Tutor

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to provide tailored support to students with special educational needs in English and Maths GCSE subjects.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team and work with students who require additional support in English and Maths GCSE subjects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised learning plans based on students' abilities and goals
  • Deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with other educators and parents to support student learning
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
  • Experience working with students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
  • Experience using assistive technology in teaching
