Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team at Amiosec, a leading UK technology company. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will provide secure, professional, and friendly customer support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming issues, queries, and help requests from end users via email, ticketing, or over the phone.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line incident management support for customer issues.
  • Fulfill service requests such as information requests or new hardware requests.
  • Support the Major Incident Management Process.
  • Provide updates around any service or customer issues for problem management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of Service Desk experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and online.
  • Proficiency in using computers with Windows, Linux, or Mac-based applications.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (ITSM) such as Freshdesk, Jira, or ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of knowledge systems like Confluence or SharePoint.
  • ITIL certification or working knowledge.
  • Familiarity with networks.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Unix experience.
  • Fault-finding of electronic assemblies to component level.
  • Personal interest in IT.
