UK Wholesale Sales Professional

A thriving and growing boutique investment management firm, such as Mason Blake, is seeking an experienced UK Wholesale Sales candidate to drive the fundraising efforts across traditional long only products, raising assets across Fixed Income and Equities funds. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience building strong relationships and capital raising across the UK Wholesale market.
Working as part of a small high-performing investment team, you will be responsible for identifying and retaining key relationships with Private Banks, Family offices, and Wealth Managers. Key elements of the role include:
- Manage and drive new business activities across the UK to increase the firm's Assets Under Management (AUM).
- Responsible for being the primary point of contact for client requests and completing the wholesale client service procedure from start to finish.
- Attend client meetings and roadshow events with potential prospects, clients, rating agencies, and fund managers.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively, regularly cross-selling and identifying new opportunities to raise capital.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An entrepreneurial and driven mindset, who is eager to work independently and take ownership of key clients in the UK Wholesale space.
- A demonstrated track record of fundraising in the long only space, with at least 5 years' experience.
- Has experience building and retaining relationships across the Independent Financial Advisor (IFA), Family Office, Digital platform, and Private Bank Wholesale market.
- Team player with great attention to detail.
