Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational support to the Revalidation Directorate, ensuring the smooth delivery of revalidation services for over 7,000 Postgraduate Doctors in Training.

Key duties will include reviewing revalidation connections, liaising with the General Medical Council, and processing confidential information. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely responses to queries, and providing excellent communication with stakeholders.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A nationally recognised qualification in business/office administration at level 3 or above is essential, along with experience of working in an administrative/clerical or secretarial support role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes, including Word and Excel, is also required, as well as experience of working with databases and data entry systems. A formal course or evidence of understanding of data protection legislation and information governance is also essential.
